The latest FEI World Rankings for July 2026 have once again highlighted the strength of British equestrian sport, with riders featuring prominently across showjumping, dressage, eventing and para dressage.
While several international stars continue to lead their respective disciplines, Great Britain boasts multiple riders inside the world’s elite across almost every FEI ranking.
Here’s how the latest standings look.
Showjumping: Brash and Maher Keep Britain Among the Best
Despite American rider Kent Farrington retaining the world number one position for a third consecutive month, Britain remains strongly represented at the very top of international showjumping.

Scott Brash remains Britain’s highest-ranked showjumper in third after another consistent month of international competition, while Olympic champion Ben Maher holds fourth.
Team GB has also slipped one place to fourth in the Longines League of Nations rankings, although only 42 points separate Britain from Germany in third, leaving plenty still to play for during the remainder of the season.
Dressage: Britain Has Three Riders Inside the World’s Top Five
Dressage is currently Britain’s strongest discipline in the world rankings.
Belgium’s Justin Verboomen continues to lead the FEI Dressage World Rankings aboard Zonik Plus, but British riders occupy three of the top five places.

Charlotte Fry has moved into second after another excellent month with Glamourdale, sitting just 11 ranking points behind Verboomen.
Meanwhile Becky Moody climbs to fourth following her FEI World Cup Final success earlier this season, while Carl Hester makes one of the biggest ranking jumps of the month after victories at Wellington with Fame.
Leading Dressage Horses
The horse rankings also reflect Britain’s strength.
- Zonik Plus remains world number one.
- Glamourdale sits second.
- Jagerbomb is fourth.
- Fame climbs dramatically into fifth.
Eventing: Britain Chasing Tim Price
New Zealand’s Tim Price continues his reign as the world’s leading event rider, extending his spell at the top to 17 months.
However, British riders dominate much of the chasing pack.

Harry Meade rises to second following another exceptional run of performances, while Tom Jackson and Tom McEwen also move further into the world’s top five.

Para Dressage: Britain Close Behind USA
The biggest change this month comes in Para Dressage.
American rider Kate Shoemaker becomes the new world number one after ending Fiona Howard’s lengthy stay at the summit.
Britain’s Mari Durward-Akhurst remains fourth overall while continuing to lead the Grade I rankings.
In the team standings Great Britain sits second behind the USA by just six points, making this one of the closest international title races heading towards the World Championships.
Driving: International Leaders Hold Their Positions
There are no British riders at the top of the Driving rankings this month.

Endurance: France Continues Its Dominance
French rider Melody Theolissat remains comfortably clear as world number one in Endurance.
France now occupies six places inside the world’s top ten, underlining its continued dominance of the discipline.
Bahrain’s Ahmed Jaafar Janahi also retains the lead in the FEI Endurance Trainers Rankings.
