The Guinness Kerry National at Listowel is the principal race on Wednesday 23 September, with a field of 21 declared for the €200,000 Grade 3 handicap chase.
There are four further horse racing meetings in Britain, with Flat racing at Goodwood, Redcar and Kempton alongside a six-race jumps card at Perth. The programme begins at Goodwood at 1.30pm and continues through to Kempton’s final race at 8.30pm.

Kerry National runners and favourites
The Guinness Kerry National takes place at Listowel at 4.15pm. Run over almost three miles, the Grade 3 handicap chase is worth €200,000 and carries a first prize of €120,000.
King Alexander is the early 9/2 favourite following his victory in the Galway Plate in July. Willie Mullins’ runner defeated Conyers Hill by half a length at Galway and competes from an 8lb higher mark today.
Nowwhatdoyouthink is next in the market at around 5/1. Gordon Elliott’s eight-year-old finished fourth in the Galway Plate and meets the winner on more favourable terms.
Funiculi Funicula is forecast at 6/1, while Downmexicoway is available at approximately 7/1. The latter stayed on to finish fifth at Galway and could be suited by the longer distance at Listowel.
Kings Hill and Conyers Hill are both priced at around 8/1. French Dynamite, third in last year’s Kerry National, is among the more experienced runners but must carry top weight.
Willie Mullins has six runners in the field, including King Alexander, Funiculi Funicula, Nowwhatdoyouthink, Ballygunner Castle, Uncle Pat and You Oughta Know.

Goodwood: Boiling Point leads Foundation Stakes market
Goodwood’s feature race is the Listed Foundation Stakes at 3.15pm, run over a mile and a quarter.
Boiling Point heads the early market at 5/2. The six-runner field also includes last year’s winner Naqeeb, who is forecast at 11/4.
Lion’s Pride is available at around 7/2, with Respond at 9/2. Naqeeb brings proven course form, but Boiling Point receives weight from his older rivals and holds the narrow advantage in the betting.
The most valuable race on the card is the £100,000 British EBF Two-Year-Old Fillies’ Series Final at 3.50pm. Fourteen runners remain in the latest declarations.
Eabha is the early 2/1 favourite, with Tikka at 11/2. Fillipas, Zigazig Ah and Coral Cove are among the runners quoted at 8/1.
Eabha has won three of her five starts and arrives following a victory at Beverley. Tikka was an impressive winner at Kempton last month and could have further improvement to come on her return to turf.
Perth: Tamarind Bay heads valuable handicap chase
The £25,000 handicap chase at 3.57pm is Perth’s main race. Nine runners have been declared for the contest over just short of three miles.
Tamarind Bay is the early 11/4 favourite. King Of Answers follows at 5/1, with Breizh River at 6/1.
The Real Whacker is one of the most recognisable names in the field. The former Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase winner races from top weight and is forecast at around 8/1. First-time blinkers are applied following his third-place finish at Perth in June.
Etalon and Boston Rover are both available at approximately 7/1, leaving the favourite with several credible opponents in a race where jumping accuracy should prove decisive.
Redcar: Golden Souk favourite for Future Stayers contest
Redcar stages seven Flat races on ground described as good to firm, with good patches.
The British EBF Future Stayers Novice Stakes at 2.57pm has attracted eight runners. Golden Souk heads the early market at 11/4, narrowly ahead of Speyside at 3/1 and The Can Can Man at 10/3.
Speyside finished third at Goodwood on debut before disappointing at York. A first-time tongue-tie is fitted today. The Can Can Man, a son of American Triple Crown winner Justify, makes his racecourse debut.
The mile-and-a-quarter handicap at 4.07pm is the most valuable handicap on Redcar’s card, with 12 runners declared.
Kempton: Luansobe returns to the all-weather
Kempton supplies Wednesday’s evening meeting, with nine races on the Polytrack between 4.20pm and 8.30pm.
The 7.30pm handicap over seven furlongs has attracted 14 runners. Manly Fireball is the early 4/1 favourite, followed by Shaman Champion at 9/2 and Prosperitas at 11/2.
Luansobe is forecast at around 7/1. The seven-year-old won at Wolverhampton in July before finishing fourth on turf at Haydock. His return to an all-weather surface could suit, although the race remains open on the early prices.
Two divisions of the opening novice contest begin the card, while the 8.00pm Class 4 handicap over nearly a mile and three furlongs is the most valuable race of the evening.

Eabha is the shortest-priced favourite among today’s principal races. King Alexander leads the betting for the Kerry National, although the size and strength of the field make it one of the more open markets of the afternoon.
