World Equestrian Game’s Competitors Face FEI Tribunal The FEI have revealed that two endurance horses tested positive in a drugs test, at this year’s World Equestrian Games (WEG), Tyron. The samples, taken on 11th September 2018, tested positive for controlled medication substances. Controlled medication substances are those which can be legally used to treat horses, but must be out of their system when the time comes to compete. Sport England Launches ‘Fit Got Real’ Campaign Sport England has launched a new phase to their ‘This Girl Can’ campaign, titled ‘Fit Got Real’. The ‘Fit Got Real’ phase is set to tackle inequalities in levels of exercise in social groups, aiming to get women who feel excluded from the world of exercise, active again. Olympic Eventer Out Of Action After Fall Michael Jung, the Olympic Champion Eventer, has suffered injury and will be out of action after falling during the Young Horse World Championships at Le Lion d’Angers, France. British Eventing Fees to rise in 2019 British Eventing have announced that entry fees and prize money will increase in 2019. The decision comes after consultation with British Eventing stakeholders, including riders, owners and the British Event Organisers Association (BEQA), agreeing that fees and prize money should increase by 2.25%.
