Royal Windsor Horse Show Thursday to go ahead following Wednesday’s cancellation due to flooding.
The Royal Windsor Horse Show will go ahead as planned today (Thursday 12th May).
The show was cancelled yesterday due to flooding in visitor car parks and other areas of the event.
The event organisers have worked tirelessly to make sure the showground was ready for opening today. The main car parks will remain closed, only open to those who have pre-booked tickets for parking.
Over the following days spectators will witness plenty of Equestrian sport including driving, international showjumping, showing and other disciplines.
The main arena, tonight, will play host to HRH 90th birthday celebrations as planned. Despite best efforts, from all involved yesterday, the celebrations were also cancelled.
We wish all horses, organisers and spectators a fabulous day at this year’s iconic event.
