It has been announced that Hickstead Derby hopeful Depardieu Van T Kiezelhof, sadly passed away on Friday 26th May 2017.

Depardieu Van T Kiezelhof (Zak) was a 14-year-old grey gelding, standing at 18hh. He was owned by Lyndsey Doran, who has been loyal to him for the past ten years of his career. He had won numerous events in the show jumping world and was currently being ridden by Guy Williams. Their most recent success was a win at the four-star grand prix in Vejer de la Frontera, in March.

Guy has paid tribute to the horse, with the following Facebook statement;

Depardieu Van T Kiezelhof has since been cremated.

Our thoughts are with the whole team at this sad time.
