After two days of dressage, tomorrow welcomes the cross-country phase for the Equestrian Festival Baborówko CCI4*-S, CCI4*-L and CCI2*-YH. The riders will face the impressive water complex and stamina-demanding distances. Showjumping trials for CCI3*-S, CCI2*-S and CCI1*-Intro will also take place tomorrow, as well as the first part of the rivalry in the driving competition.
In the most important class of the show – the CCI4*-S, where the prize money reaches over 70 000 EUR, the overnight leader Ingrid Klimke (GER) kept her position with SAP HALE BOB OLD. Louise Romeike (SWE) is still holding on to her second place with CATO 60, and Michael Jung (GER) with FISCHERCHIPMUNK FRH (feature image) is now third.
The CCI4*-S will also determine the winner of this year’s Polish National Championships for senior eventing riders. Two athletes are tied in the lead and the sixth place in the overall classification – Małgorzata Cybulska with CHENARO 2 and Mateusz Kiempa with LIBERTINA. Paweł Warszawski with LUCINDA EX ANI is currently third.
In the CCI4*-L the current best result belongs to India’s Fouaad Mirza with SEIGNEUR MEDICOTT. He is also second with DAJARA 4, and third place for now belongs to Dirk Schrade (GER) with CASINO 80.
After the second part of the dressage tests in the CCI3*-S, for the prize of Kuhn Maszyny Rolnicze, the leader is still Leo Von Schmeling (GER) riding LUCKY TOUTCH. Michael Jung (GER) is second with KILCANDRA OCEAN POWER and two riders are tied in for third – Hanna Knüppel (GER) with GEKE EQUIGRIP’S LEVINIO and Greta Busacker (GER) with SCRABBLE OLD.
Henna Friederike Grüllich (GER) took the lead with ELTON VDL in the CCI2*-S for the prize of Concordia Grupa Generali. Lotte Palmgren (FIN) with GENIALE 11 sits in second, and Felix Etzel (GER) riding PROMISING PETE TSF lost his overnight lead to become third.
In the CCI1*-Intro the best dressage result belongs to Jerome Robine (GER) with COBY R. Merel Blom (NED) is second with THE BLACK SWAN, and Malin Petersen (SWE) riding HULDA – third.
