Jonty Evans moved to high dependency unit It was announced yesterday that event rider, Jonty Evans, has been moved from intensive care at Beaumont Hospital to a high dependency ward at Connolly Hospital, West Dublin. His condition remains serious but stable, having not yet regained consciousness. The North Wales raised rider fell from his horse, Cooley Rorkes Drift, sustaining a serious head injury a little over two weeks ago during the CIC 3 star Tattersall International Horse Trials, in Ireland. BHS Launches Film for Road Safety to Involve Car Drivers in a ‘Unique Way’.

The BHS has launched it’s new virtual reality film at Parliament this week (13 June 2018). The BHS states that the film’s purpose is to “raise awareness of the issues horse riders face on Britain’s roads”. The video supports the Dead Slow Campaign, which the BHS debuted in 2016. The campaign works with driving organisations across the UK to bring about education to drivers about passing horses and therefore hopes to influence safer road-riding conditions. The initiation of the Dead Slow Campaign was influenced by the BHS’s Horse Accidents website.…

Charlotte Dujardin claimed another victory this morning in the Seven Year Old Championship class at The Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show. First in was Charlotte who rode the first of her two horses in this class, River Rise Nisa, who she co-owns with Sarah Tyler Evans.
