What Made AP McCoy Such a Success?

AP McCoy is one of the most successful jockeys of all time. In fact, he was so successful at horse racing that even though he retired a few years ago, he is still talked about often to this day. You’re even able to hire him as a speaker for any events you’re hosting if you wish, as people are often very keen to hear what someone with his experiences has to say.

Who is AP McCoy?

He rode his first English horse racing season aged 19 and won a massive 74 races! It was only a year later that he won his first Championship Title. Impressive enough, but he managed to keep this title every year after that, breaking the record for Consecutive titles won. This was previously held by Peter Scudamore, with 7 victories, which seemed amazing at the time, but something that was smashed by AP McCoy.
