Tara Best, founder and Director of rural and equestrian PR company Tara Punter PR, is delighted to share the exciting news that the business has reached the south west regional final of this year’s Rural Business Awards.

The Rural Business Awards were established in Leicestershire in 2014 and have since become a nationally-recognised celebration of the entrepreneurial talent helping the UK’s rural sector thrive. There are 11 award categories encompassing a diverse range of product and service-based industries including rural food & drink, tourism and diversification. Tara Punter PR has been nominated for and is one of the 5 finalists in the Best Rural Digital, Communications or Media Business category.

Specialising in working with equestrian and rural businesses, Tara Punter PR offers a range of communications services including public relations, social media management and digital marketing. Since its launch, the business has gone from strength to strength, employing local people and winning clients from around the world. Earlier this year Tara was named as one of the 30 under 30 shining stars of Gloucestershire business in 2019, an indication of the rapid growth of the company in such a short time.

Working with a range of clients from the equestrian and rural sectors from country jewellery and clothing businesses to event riders and innovative equine health companies, Tara Punter PR strives to offer something extra. Tara has recently added social media, PR and marketing coaching to the business’ roster of services and enjoys supporting clients to ensure their passion for their business translates into success.

Tara comments:

This news marks yet another amazing milestone in my business journey. I’ve poured my heart and soul into Tara Punter PR and being a finalist in the Rural Business Awards really is a defining moment for me! My fingers are firmly crossed for success in October as a reward for all the team’s hard work – and how perfect is it that the finals are taking place where I first studied business, at the Royal Agricultural University?”.
