The Rural Business Awards were established in Leicestershire in 2014 and have since become a nationally-recognised celebration of the entrepreneurial talent helping the UK’s rural sector thrive. There are 11 award categories encompassing a diverse range of product and service-based industries including rural food & drink, tourism and diversification. My fingers are firmly crossed for success in October as a reward for all the team’s hard work – and how perfect is it that the finals are taking place where I first studied business, at the Royal Agricultural University?”.
