Royal Windsor Horse Show Cancelled due to flooding

The Organisers of Royal Windsor Horse Show have announced that today’s show (Wednesday 11th May) is cancelled due to flooding in the public car park and lorry parks.  The rain is expected to leave by lunchtime and tomorrow’s events are planned to go ahead as usual.  More updates will be available on the Show website www.rwhs.co.uk and through social media channels.

Competitors that have already arrived have been assured a full refund will be given on fee’s for entry. Those who are now trying to leave the event are encountering difficulties due to the flooding. A New Market based competitor updated her social media status with a variety of images, which clearly show the extent of flooding.

The Royal Birthday Celebrations scheduled for this evening will still go ahead, visitors are expected to arrive from 5.00pm however all car parks will be closed.
