Over £250,000 has been raised for the British Eventing Support Trust, a charity supporting the physical and mental health wellbeing of event riders of all levels.

The annual Winter Ball, hosted by the Charity, surpassed all expectations while raising valuable funds for members of the British Eventing community.

The charity is dedicated to supporting the welfare and recovery of individuals within the British Eventing community. It provides essential assistance to riders, grooms, and others involved in the sport who face challenges such as injuries, accidents, or personal difficulties. The trust offers financial aid, rehabilitation services, and mental health support, helping those in need to recover and return to the sport they love. By promoting resilience and community spirit, the British Eventing Support Trust plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and inclusivity of the eventing world.

The Winter Ball also marked the conclusion of the Cycle4Caroline challenge, which saw a group of riders complete their epic 1,100-kilometre journey from Blair Castle in Scotland to the Savoy Hotel just in time to join the celebrations. The challenge, held in memory of the late Caroline March, has currently raised over £305,000 for two causes close to the organiser’s hearts: the British Eventing Support Trust and Spinal Research. The funds raised will be split equally, helping to further the British Eventing Support Trust’s mission and supporting vital research into spinal cord injuries.

The British Eventing Support Trust’s board of trustees and staff have extended their heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the Winter Ball, participated in the Silent Auction and supported the Cycle4Caroline challenge.
