New Pure Feed Graze Launched in Time for Winter
New for AW20, Pure Feed Graze is the latest product to join the existing line of high quality, molasses free horse feeds from the Pure Feed Company.
Pure Feed Graze is a high fibre, low sugar and starch hay replacer. Available in a super convenient, quick soaking, micro-pellet format to create a highly palatable mash in just five minutes, the feed also contains prebiotics and probiotics to further boost gut health.
Nutritionists at The Pure Feed Company understand the importance of providing horses with access to a diet rich in fibre to help the digestive system perform efficiently. The feed is designed the optimise and kickstart the horses’ ‘central heating system’ to keep warm during the colder weather.
Horses prone to laminitis will need to have their access to sugar – and therefore grass – minimised. Older horses or those with poor teeth affecting the ability to chew may be simply unable to digest hay. Horses prone to breathing issues triggered by the dust spores in hay need to be fed a suitable fibre source replacement.
The new feed solution is an easy and totally natural alternative to hay which contains nutritious linseed (high in protein and a rich source of fat) and seven different appetising herbs including mint, to tempt even the fussiest feeders.
In addition to the clear benefits as a replacement for hay, since it is a soaked feed, The product also represents an opportunity to increase water intake which can be advantageous for competition horses, horses that are travelling and also older horses / or those who are reluctant to drink in the colder weather.
Already trialled amongst professional riders, feedback on the product is glowing:
Pure Graze is a welcome addition to our yard. The horses love it and the team loves the ease of preparation.”
Lucinda Fredericks, Olympic Medallist, winner of Badminton, Burghley and Rolex Kentucky
