British Eventing Five-Year-Old Championship Receives New Sponsorship

The British Eventing Five-Year-Old Championship have received sponsorship from Tigga’s saddlery, a well known and respected retail trade stand on the show circuit.

This prestigious young horse showcase takes place at Oasby (2) Horse Trials, running October 24 and 25.

And the team at organiser’s BEDE are delighted to announce this fantastic support from Sally Platts of Oakham-based Tigga’s Saddlery.

Said BEDE’s Stuart Buntine:

It is brilliant to have Tigga’s Saddlery as title sponsor of the five-year-old championship, it really adds to the prestige of the occasion and is great that Sally and the team have come on board with their support.”

The class, run at BE100 level, is part of the British Eventing National Championships which also encompasses championship classes for young horses that includes the six and seven-year-olds that took place at this year’s Osberton International Horse Trials held at Thoresby Park for this year only.

As the Five-Year-Old Championship hosts fewer combinations than the international classes, the organisers, in conjunction with British Eventing, felt it sensible to move the 2020 Five-Year-Old Championship to Oasby (2), who already run classes at BE100 level.
