Meet Mr Frosty – The New Liverpool International Mascot

The Liverpool International Horse Show – December 28, 29, 30 and 31 – welcomes a new star to the growing line-up for this year’s event!

Standing at just 30 inches tall, Mr Frosty or Prince to his friend’s, is the new official mascot for 2018.

Prince has the very important role of being the rather cute face of Liverpool International Horse Show that returns to the Echo Arena on Liverpool’s historic waterfront. He’ll have opening ceremony duties, guest appearances and even his own line of ‘Mr Frosty’ teddies!

The beautiful cremello Shetland will be looking his best for his exciting role as the mascot and will certainly turn heads as he goes along to a wide variety of events in the run up to Liverpool International. His top skills include, rearing on command, fancy dress and jumping for polos, so no doubt he will be pulling out all his tricks to impress the crowds.

Said Show President Nina Barbour: “Prince is simply adorable, he definitely knows he is a good looking little gentlemen and loves lots of attention. We are certain he will be a big hit throughout the show and will appreciate a pat from his fans at the show so be sure to say hello.”

Prince has just turned two-years-old and is as cheeky as ever and always full of mischief. At home he has a habit of running round the paddock with glee as he steals his headcollar from owner, Emma Garner’s hands as he runs past.

Emma said: “He is a very cheeky little Shetland and makes everyone laugh. It is brilliant he is the latest ambassador for the Liverpool International Horse Show and a great honour to be part of this fantastic show.”

Prince even has his own Instagram account called ‘minimrfrosty’, so make sure you follow his journey in the lead up to Liverpool International to see what he gets up too.
