Jump 4 Joy Support Redwings Horse Sanctuary

Leading manufacturer of show jumps, Jump 4 Joy, have announced plans to support Redwings, the largest equestrian charities in the Uk.

Donating show jumps for horses at the rehoming centres is only one of the benefits that encompasses the package offered by Jump 4 Joy. Additional benefits will include help in raising awareness of horse welfare via social media, support during fundraising campaigns and allowing customers to donate to the sanctuary via the Jump 4 Joy website.

Redwings have been in operation since 1984 rescuing abandoned, mistreated and neglected horses and donkeys. With the rescue only being the ‘start of the journey’, countless dedicated members from supporting teams across the country have helped rehabilitate and care for the rescued animals.

Nigel Underwood, MD at Jump 4 Joy commented:

we are delighted to get involved with supporting Redwings Horse Sanctuary who are doing an amazing job when it comes to rescuing abandoned, mistreated and neglected horses and donkeys from across the UK, giving them a safe place to live and providing essential veterinary treatment, rehabilitation and lifelong care.”

Redwings is 100% publicly funded, which is working to maximum capacity by offering a home to over 1,500 horses, donkeys and mules across the UK with an additional 500 being placed in ‘Guardian’ homes. The additional support from Jump 4 Joy has been greatly received as the charity has recently expanded facilities to offer new training centres in Norfolk and Warwickshire.

Chief Executive of Redwings, Lynn Cutress said:

We are very grateful to Jump 4 Joy for their support of Redwings. We are also delighted with their generous donation of jumps for our rehoming centres. By increasing our rehoming operations we are freeing up space at the Sanctuary to be able to continue our rescue work, so Jump 4 Joys support will make a real difference in helping us to continue to help horses in need.”
