Kiwi rider James Avery has secured a new sponsorship with well-known equestrian distributors, Zebra Products. James will be joining the herd under the brands Cavalleria Toscana, EGO7 and Uvex.
Originally a farrier from Nelson in New Zealand, James won the NZ National Young Rider Three-day Event title in 2011 at the South Island Three-day Event.
James came over to England in 2013 with no set plan but found work with fellow Kiwis Tim and Jonelle Price before moving on to work with Tiny Clapham and then Ruth Edge before setting up on his own.
27-year-old James is currently based at Windy Hollow in Lambourn. His main rides are Mr Sneezy and One Of AKind.
James has an exciting string of young horses that will be moving up the grades in 2020. His 2020 plans are to head to a couple of Spring 4* and 5* events with the older horses, which will hopefully bring about an exciting summer for team Avery.
