HOYS Donate Hospitality Package to Support MDIRF Charity August’s Theft
Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) have donated a hospitality package to show support for the Mark Davies Injured Riders Fund following the theft of their Camper Van in August.
The donated prize includes; 2 x Hospitality tickets for the Thursday evening, three-course meal, table service and a meet and greet with Carl Hester immediately after his rider signing.
The MDRIF White Chausson Flash09 Camper Van had been left full of stock, which was ready to head to Burghley Horse Trials to help raise vital funds for the charity.
Rosemary Lang Administrator and Fund Co-ordinator speaking on behalf of the charity said:
We always rely on Burghley to help fund a large chunk of our work for the following year. This loss could impact on our ability to help so many of you as we do each year, so please support us if you are able to help in any way you can; from sharing our social media posts through to making a small donation on our website, it would be hugely appreciated.”
We cannot thank Horse of the Year Show enough for donating such a fabulous experience and hope it will go some way towards recovering the loss we have incurred to ensure that we can continue to support equestrians in need.”
She continued.
The ‘money can’t buy’ prize will be auctioned online, funds of which will be donated to the MDIRF charity.
