Georgie Spence announces new partnership with Stierna Equestrian Sportswear
Georgie Spence has announced a new partnership with the Swedish clothing brand, Stierna Equestrian Sportswear.
As a professional eventing rider, Georgie has ridden to multiple wins at CCI2*, CCI3* and CCI4*, as well as many placings at CCI5* level and a Nations Cup Gold Medal. Spending long days in the saddle and outside, high quality, durable and weatherproof clothing is a prerequisite.
As a professional rider I spend all day, every day, outside and in the saddle. Comfortable clothing, that is both cooling in the winter and warm and dry in the winter is a key element to success.
Robert Kos, Head of Marketing & Sustainability at Stierna commented:
With the addition of Georgie Spence, Stierna Equestrian Sportswear deepens the commitment to the eventing scene with another equestrian athlete with both great horsemanship and great sportsmanship.
Georgie Spence has represented Team GBR at Pony, Junior, Young Rider and Senior level, and received shortlistings for London 2021 and Rio 2016 Olympics. As one of the riders to travel to the Tokyo 2020 Test Event, Georgie finished 4th and played a key role in bringing information back to riders heading out to victory at the delayed Olympic Games.
2022 sees Georgie head to Badminton Horse Trials once again with 5* stalwart Halltown Harley.

Lister announces new partnership at Royal Three Counties Show
Lister, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of clipping and shearing equipment, has announced sponsorship of the Ask the Groom feature at this year’s Royal Three Counties Show.
Lister has been designing and manufacturing its products in Gloucestershire for more than 100 years. It has a longstanding history with the show, having been supporting the shearing competition for more than 50 years.
Having been cancelled for the last two years due to the COVID pandemic, Royal Three Counties is set to return with a bang this year.
The Ask the Groom feature will include guest talks from a wide range of equine industries, sessions on practical horsemanship, the Mounted Police, as well as live clipping demonstrations featuring creative clipping.
Hefin Rowlands, UK Sales Territory Manager at Lister said:
With Royal Three Counties Show being so close to Lister’s factory in Gloucester, it is an event that is very much close to our hearts. We are looking forward to supporting the shearing event alongside Ask The Groom.
Education plays an important part in what we do and having the opportunity to bring live clipping to the show, will be not just insightful for those starting out but also for those with many years of clipping experience behind them. We will be demonstrating not just how to clip but will also turn a horse into an art display with our creative clipping demonstration, as well as demonstrating managing health conditions such as Cushing’s Disease.
Advance tickets for the Royal Three Counties Show are available now. The event will take place from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 June 2022 in Malvern.
