Overworked horses a major concern at Appleby Horse Fair
The RSPCA says overworking of horses was a significant animal welfare issue at this year’s Appleby Horse Fair (2024). The charity continues to appeal for information after a horse was worked to death on Wednesday afternoon, the day before the Fair officially began (5th June).
