Duke of Beaufort Dies Peacefully at Home The Duke of Beaufort has passed away peacefully at home yesterday (16/08/2017), at the age of 89. David Somerset was the 11th Duke of Beaufort. The owner of the 59,000-acre estate that is  Badminton House, has reportedly left a fortune of £315 million. He left behind widow, Miranda, and his four children from a former marriage.
