Brynseion Announced as Sponsor of HOYS 2026 Mountain & Moorland First Ridden Championships
Horse of the Year Show 2026 has announced Brynseion as the new sponsor of the prestigious Mountain & Moorland First Ridden Pony of the Year Championship and Mountain & Moorland Mini Pony of the Year Championship for 2026.
The two championships are among the most anticipated highlights of the HOYS showing programme, celebrating talented young riders and their native ponies as they compete for two of the most coveted titles in Mountain & Moorland showing.
Celebrating the Future of Native Pony Showing
The partnership between Brynseion and HOYS is a natural fit, with Brynseion having a long-standing association with breeding and producing quality native ponies.
The sponsorship will support two championships that showcase the skill, dedication and partnership between young riders and their ponies, while highlighting the importance of developing the next generation of Mountain & Moorland competitors.

HOYS Welcomes New Championship Sponsor

The Mountain & Moorland First Ridden Pony of the Year and Mountain & Moorland Mini Pony of the Year Championships will take place during Horse of the Year Show, which returns to the NEC Birmingham from 7–11 October 2026.
The five-day event will once again bring together the country’s leading horses and ponies, with championship showing, elite showjumping and world-class equestrian sport forming part of the annual celebration of British equestrian competition.
