A new British Riding Clubs Livestream will be launched this weekend in conjunction with Horse & Country (H&C) in an exciting move between two of the key equestrian industry stakeholders, it was announced today.

British Riding Clubs (BRC) is dedicated to supporting and encouraging amateur riders at all levels and runs a wide range of championships and events throughout the year. The partnership will commence with this weekend’s BRC TopSpec Dressage to Music Championships taking place at Bury Farm from 2nd – 4th October. Further events will be announced in the near future.

Commenting on the news, Jonathan Rippon, H&C’s Director of Content said,

We have a long-standing relationship with BRC and this partnership takes it to the next level. We know that the passionate amateur rider is a cornerstone of H&C’s community and they love to see riders competing at their own level. We’re looking forward to coverage on H&C+ of BRC events across a range of different disciplines over the forthcoming year.”

For BRC, Rachael Hollely-Thompson said,

Live streaming is increasingly part of the landscape in the equestrian world, particularly since lockdown has made people so much more familiar with this kind of viewing and the opportunities it offers. We’ve worked with H&C for a while now and this partnership is the next stage in what has been a very positive relationship for both parties.”

H&C+ members will be able to watch all British Riding Clubs livestreams in the live events section at horseandcountry.tv and in the H&C+ apps. And for those unable to watch live, all of the action from each day of competition will be available to watch on-demand the following day. H&C+ membership is just £5.99 a month, with no contract required. Additionally, H&C’s new Getmyclip service means BRC competitors will be able to buy their own showjumping round or dressage test to download and keep forever.
