BREXIT NO CONCERN TO TEENAGE SISTERS ANNIE AND KATE MADDEN OF FENUHEALTH AFTER MEETING WITH BORIS JOHNSON
Kate or Annie Madden, co-founders of FenuHealth, are not that “worried” about Brexit.
Speaking on local radio Louth Meath FM, they outlined how their company FenuHealth plan to overcome Brexit as they continue to export into the lucrative UK market, after their meeting with Boris Johnson, British Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs at Trinity College.
Both Kate (17) and Annie Madden (15) are confident that their plan to establish a base outside London will overcome trading obstacles caused by Brexit.
“To be honest we are not that concerned about Brexit, obviously it will be a problem, but we are not that deeply concerned” Kate Madden said.
While her sister Annie further explained:
“From our point of view at FenuHealth, we are not that worried about Brexit, but obviously for the horse industry it is going to be a pretty huge problem because the main trade with racehorses as in buying and selling as well as races, is between Ireland, Britain and France but for us, we are opening an office beside where our product is manufactured in England.”
FenuHealth now plan to use their UK office as their main distribution hub to distribute their product throughout the UK.
Annie also outlined plans to manufacture FenuHealth products on mainland Europe to cater for the EU market.
“We going to be manufacturing it in mainland Europe as well, so it’s easier for the other European countries and countries outside of European, that’s really were we are going as such with Brexit. We think it can be an easy solution for us”.
Despite the gravity of discussing Brexit, they managed to share a lighter moment with Boris Johnson, when he asked them could he try some of their product FenuSave, which is for gastric ulcers in horses. As FenuSave is 100% natural and is manufactured to human health standards, he simply could not resist a taste.
