LEADING para-dressage rider Bert Sheffield has secured sponsorship from Equithème, the well-known French label.
With their extensive range of stylish horse and rider wear, Lincolnshire-based Bert will be provided with rugs and horse accessories from Equithème for her team of rides.
Bert Sheffield competes for Canada and is diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, but this has never stopped her achieving some amazing goals like competing at the Rio 2016 Paralympics in the Canadian team, coming fourth at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy, former British Dressage Para National Champion at Grade III and competing across the globe in iconic places including Qatar.
Having already accomplished some amazing results, Bert has the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon, USA and the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics set firmly in her sights. She has spent the last year building up a formidable team of young, up and coming equine stars with these goals in mind.
Said Frédéric Pascoa, of Equithème: “We are so pleased that Bert has joined the Equithème team as she is a fantastic rider and has great presence, not just in Canada and the UK, but around the world.
“Having Bert Sheffield and Amandine Mazzoni, who is also a para-dressage rider, in our team is very special and we look forward to supporting them on their equestrian journeys.”
Added Bert: “I am so pleased to be a part of the Equithème ambassador team as I have known the brand for many years and love the gear – it has a real classic French feel.”
Equithéme is supporting Bert with rugs and horse wear for her team of horses from its comprehensive range which offers matching rugs, saddlecloths, fly veils and other horse wear. Bert particularly likes the burgundy colour as it tones nicely with the maple leaves of Canada.
