BD marketplace ‘a shopping experience like no other’
BD Marketplace launched as a ‘one stop shop’ with products and services to enlighten any aspects of the dressage enthusiast’s life.
The dressage community is renowned for its love of shopping; spoiling ourselves, our horses and our canine friends, treating friends and coveting all things fabulous. So, it’s with great pleasure that British Dressage announces today the launch of our newest commercial initiative, the BD marketplace. A bespoke marketing platform, the marketplace is a ‘shopping experience like no other’ and unites our supporters with some of the country’s leading retailers and brands in a secure, easy to navigate, interactive on-line environment.
In partnership with Kindred RM, BD has developed the marketplace to be the perfect ‘one stop shop’ for any dressage enthusiast, with products and services to enlighten any aspect of their life; for riders, horses, pets, home, garden, yard – anything and everything!
Some of the products are from well known equestrian brands but many are new and unique to the dressage world. As well as the retail side, visitors to the site are encouraged to interact with the sellers, and vice versa to give a bespoke personal service, as close to actually visiting in-store, but without leaving your keyboard.
From socks to saddles, slow cookers to solar phone chargers and stock pins to supplements – the BD marketplace features them all – and in one place so users don’t have to spend hours searching the web. The BD marketplace can be accessed on our website www.britishdressage.co.uk, via the homepage or shop. The website uses payment provider NETBANX and supports 3D Secure, the online equivalent of ‘chip and pin’ so shoppers know their purchases will be safe and secure.
Open to all internet users, the BD marketplace also allows retailers to provide fantastic discounts, group offers and end-of-line sales exclusive to our community, so users get great products at great prices. BD will use its popular social media sites to make visitors aware of the offers and promote any exciting new additions to the marketplace.
British Dressage CEO Jason Brautigam commented; “The BD team is really excited about this new project. It gives our members and dressage supporters a new and unique shopping experience, whilst bringing new, innovative brands to dressage alongside our established favourites. It’s the perfect platform for retailers to have direct access to our community, which is their ideal target market – and in turn our members get a great deal and service, so everyone benefits.”
For launch, around 35 retailers have signed up and completed their listings for shoppers to browse. BD and Kindred RM will be adding new names weekly. Plus, brands will regularly change their products, along with regular group offers, so every visit to the BD Marketplace will give shoppers the chance to see something different.
