VEGAN Equestrian Clothing from Rowberton
Rowberton has launched an exciting new range of vegan equestrian clothing for the UK’s horse lovers designed to fill the gap between riding apparel and everyday clothing. Founded by Sophie Robbins, a passionate equestrian with a solid pedigree in fashion design, the brand has created a fabulous collection of casual clothing for adults and children that have been crafted from sustainable and organic material.
Sophie spent 20 years designing clothes for high-profile brands such as Miss Selfridge, Warehouse and Next, before starting a new career working as a graphic designer. The result is a keen eye for fashion and design that brings together beautiful colour palettes, patterns, prints and designs all with one thing in common – equestrian-inspired spirit and groove.
Sophie loves to spend as much of her day as possible around horses (with two Appaloosas, a Welsh cob and a British spotted pony she is certainly kept busy…) but yearned for clothing that featured horses in the patterns and style, but still looked stylish. The new range of garments are gorgeous, fun, occasionally quirky and always easy-to-wear. The designs Sophie creates are borne out of a deep love and respect for our beloved steeds and a loyalty to the equestrian lifestyle.
Highlights from the new collection include the Signature Hoodie (£49.00), a cosy layer featuring the Rowberton logo on the front and strapline on the rear, the Love Heart Base Layer (£29.00) with a stunning subtle hand-drawn motif and the retro-fit crew neck Divine Equine Sweater (£45.00).
Rowberton is founded on the belief that good fashion shouldn’t be disposable. Sophie has seen first-hand the enormous turnover of materials and resources in the fashion industry and wants people to slow down, buy carefully and buy less. The brand’s designs are crafted from sustainable and organic materials, making them perfect for people who are on the hunt for horsey clothing but also looking for ways to minimise their own environmental impact and step away from ‘fast fashion’.
The range is also PETA-certified, meaning the brand doesn’t conduct or commissions any animal testing on the ingredients, formulations and finished products. The materials used are all vegan, so the wearer can be assured that no animals have come to harm as a result of Rowberton clothing being produced.
For those looking for equestrian-inspired clothing that will last longer, age better and have less impact on the world than cheap fast fashion, Rowberton is the perfect choice. The carefully chosen colours and designs are sure to turn heads when you head out competing and will look equally good outside of a horsey environment!
