Tommy ‘Hilfiger’ Equestrian launched in move to capture new audience
- Tommy ‘Hilfiger’ Equestrian launched for AW21 and beyond
- Range includes gear for the horse and rider
In a bid to break into a new market, premium American brand Tommy Hilfiger has expanded their current sports product range to include a selection of items for the horse and rider.
In a similar move to high-end British brand Holland Cooper, the new Tommy Equestrian range brings yet more fashion-focussed wears to the market that boast modern styling, branding and quality garments customers have come to expect from this bold and innovative brand.
It’s not the first time Tommy Hilfiger have dipped their toe into the market, as other items have included a theme suitable for horse riders and enthusiasts. However, with high-end goods come high-end price tags, and as you may well have guessed, the items retail … well at the high end (trying to remain diplomatic here)!
Perfect for the discerning equestrian …
The new range of equestrian apparel encompasses a balanced selection of male and female items. In addition, you can expect to find down-filled jackets, polo shirts, hoodies, body warmers and more in the Leisure and Training section of the website.
To complement the day-to-day leisure/training wear, the competition segment boasts high quality, brightly branded gear that will undoubtedly be seen peppering show grounds across the UK in 2022.
The range includes garments that are made from sustainable materials, like the Moonstone Down Jacket with Hoodpictured below. Lightweight, water repellent and fitted with a double zip for ease of adjustment, the jacket is made from 100% recycled down. The sizing is as you would expect, typically starting from the XXS – XL.
Equine wears
In a further bid to complement the rider wear category, a modest selection of equine goods help finish off the overall Hilfiger Equestrian look.
Saddle pads, fly veils and cooling blankets form the line-up of heavily yet authentically branded items available for your horse. One item that caught our eye was the TH Performance sweat rug with the sizeable woven logo and use of colour to drive the brand message home further. First, however, we sat and pondered why the term equestrian wasn’t woven (pardon the pun) into the item alongside the use of Hilfiger.
All in all, the new Tommy Equestrian range looks set to be a hit with the fashion conscious equestrian. The full catalogue of products can be found on the exclusive website en.tommy-equestrian.com
