Alltech Hartpury Conference to Return for a Ninth Year
The Alltech Hartpury Conference will return for the ninth year running to Hartpury University on Wednesday, May 8th 2019.
Undergraduate and Postgraduate students from across the UK will be presenting topics of equestrian science, with prizes for the best oral and poster presentations being presented from event sponsor, Alltech.
All topics of equestrian interest are encouraged, with particular focus being placed on Equine Behaviour and Welfare, Equine Business Management, Breeding, Genetics and Stud Management, Equine Health and Therapy, Equine Nutrition and Feeding, Rider Performance and Equine performance.
Aimed at higher education students, the conference provides an opportunity to experience a scientific conference from writing and submitting an abstract. Students will gain valuable experience from going through the review and revisions process to delivering a theatre presentation to a conference of student delegates.
The relaxed environment created by students presenting to students, is less intimidating than facing a room full of experts, as will be the case further into their careers.
Throughout the day a number of experts will provide inspiring presentations on a range of topics, providing students with an insight into current research and developments within the equine industry.
