All Star Line Up for Keysoe CSI2* This Weekend

Keysoe CSI2*

Many of Europe’s leading show jumpers line up ahead of this weekend’s Keysoe CSI2*, that offers free entry for spectators for the duration of the event (November 24-26th).

2016 Team GBR Olympic team member, John Whitaker heads to Keysoe with Cassinis Chaplin and Comme Il Faut, entered to compete in the CSI2* classes and Storm entered for the CSIYH1*.  The stalwart of the British Show Jumping circuit, with 39 major championship appearances and 24 medals to his name, is joined by other members of the Whitaker dynasty, including son Robert Whitaker, to compete across the three days.

Other leading British and Irish entries include Hickstead Derby winners Will Funnell and Ireland’s Trevor Breen, Hickstead Speed Derby winner Harriet Nuttall and Team GBR Young Rider Champion Chloe Winchester. International CCI**** event riders Alice Dunsdon and Simon Grieve also feature.

“We’re pleased with the entry, and seeing how the show has grown nicely each year.  It is good to see our regular supporters coming back, and also really pleasing to see new riders in the list giving us a try.

We look forward to welcoming riders, owners, grooms and spectators next weekend, and hope we put on a fun show for everyone.” Simon Bates, Event Director

Keysoe is also pleased to host a Wildcard Qualifier for the Liverpool International Horse Show, in December, in which British Riders who are eligible for British Team Selection competing in classes 6, 12, and 17 will also be eligible to gain wildcard qualification to the 4* event.
