The customers spoke, and Silvermoor listened. Based on customer feedback, the popular healthy horse treats, and haylage company has upgraded its Silvermoor Grassabix packaging to include two blocks instead of one.
Since launching Grassabix in 2021, the product has quickly become a horse favourite, meaning it is now a staple in many tack rooms across the UK. Grassabix is a healthy, dried, compressed grass forage block. It can be used as a treat, boredom breaker, or forage replacement. It can also be fed directly from the nag or soaked in water to create a delicious, hydrating mash.
Made up of homegrown grass from Silvermoor’s farm, the grass is then high-temperature dried with Silvermoor’s sustainable biomass heat source to lock in nutrients and the natural bright green colour. It is then compressed into blocks and packaged in their fully recyclable paper packaging on-site by the team at Silvermoor’s production facilities in Northumberland. Not only does this guarantee a consistent, delicious product and ensures quality, but it also minimises the carbon footprint.
Silvermoor Grassabix twin packs are available in the same three healthy, delicious flavours: TumerAid, linseed and minty unicorn. The low sugar, low starch, high fibre twin packs are packaged in new recyclable paper packaging.
