The Mio Lite Turnout rug is an ideal choice for horse owners this spring due to being lightweight, water resistant and breathable. It’s also a great option for autumn, or for those horses with a thick coat in winter too.

The Mio turnout rug is a 600D fully waterproof, yet breathable rug for turnout during spring, summer and autumn.
The rug has a classic Horseware fit, so it’s best suited to horses with narrower shoulders.
The inner lining enhances coat shine. Available in two weights, lite with no fill and the medium featuring a 200g fill, for the colder months.
What we say
We would particularly recommend this rug for thoroughbreds, or similar breeds, due to the classic Horseware shape which includes the cutaway leg arches. The rug fits snugly around the horse’s neck without restricting shoulder movement or rubbing, when fitted properly.

The rug is quick and easy to do up and take off, excellent for a nervous, young or twitchy horses that don’t like to stand still. The fitted fillet string ads extra security to stop the rug from twisting without having to fiddle with leg straps.
Overall, a great ‘summer sheet’ to keep the horse dry over the earlier spring months, taking you into the summer, without worrying about over, or under rugging.
