Pony Club Eventing Sees Support from NFU Mutual
The Pony Club is delighted to announce that long-term supporters NFU Mutual are the new headline sponsor of Pony Club Eventing.
Now in their 20th year of association with The Pony Club, NFU Mutual will sponsor the three levels of Pony Club Eventing for the 2017 season, as well as an Elite level direct entry competition at The Pony Club Championships.
Pony Club Eventers riding at PC90, PC100 and PC Open levels can qualify for The NFU Mutual Eventing Championships at The Pony Club Championships this summer by taking part in qualifying competitions in their Pony Club Area.
Mary Tuckett, Chairman of The Pony Club, said: “NFU Mutual have been generous supporters of The Pony Club for 20 years, and over this time they have been the title sponsors of a number of sports and initiatives. In 2017 The Pony Club will be working in partnership with NFU Mutual in the sport of Eventing; encouraging Members to reach their highest aspirations and continuing to produce riders who are chosen to represent their country at the highest level after their Pony Club careers have ended.” Mary continued to talk about The Pony Club’s legacy as the starting place for a number of top riders, including some of the biggest names in the sport such as Izzy Taylor, Oliver Townend, Sarah Parkes, Francis Whittington and Laura Collett to name but a few.
NFU Mutual will also continue to sponsor the NFU Mutual Pony Club Mentoring Scheme and the NFU Mutual National Quiz.
