Some of the biggest names in equestrian sport are heading to Nottinghamshire’s Thoresby Park to kick off the season in style at the Eventing Spring Carnival.

The three-day celebration of world-class eventing takes place from 28 – 30th March and is excited to welcome the likes of Zara Tindall, Tom McEwen and Laura Collett for the first international on home soil for the 2025 Eventing season.

The exciting three-day festival is packed with fresh-air family fun and top-tier equestrian action. Alongside the world’s biggest equestrian stars, the brand-new Hobby Horse Adventure’s International competition takes place. Plus, the Vintage Tractor Show returns, completing a spectacular celebration of horsepower.

The highlight of the weekend is the Lycetts Grantham Cup, a key event in the UK’s international eventing calendar. On Saturday, 29th March, riders will take on the thrilling CCI4* cross-country course, where speed, skill, and bravery come together in an unmissable spectacle.

Cheer on Olympic heroes Tom McEwen MBE, Laura Collett MBE, and Ros Canter, who brought home team gold in Paris last summer. Joining the line up is reigning World Champion Yasmin Ingham and her superstar horse, Banzai du Loir, as well as Badminton winner Caroline Powell. Back-to-back Grantham Cup winner Emily King, and former European and World Champion Zara Tindall complete the equestrian royalty line up, at this all-star fixture.

Event Director Stuart Buntine commented:

“To have the top 7 ranked riders in the world competing at Thoresby is incredible and is a huge testament to the event and the whole team.

There is so much positivity around the sport of eventing following the successes of Paris and the Eventing Spring Carnival gives equestrian fans a chance to see their Olympic heroes close up, like no other event in the world.”
