Oasby Elite Cross Country Available on H&C Livestream
The cross country phase of Oasby Elite will be available to watch thanks to the Horse & Country (H&C) Livestream on Monday, March 22.
Organised by BEDE Events, spectators can watch the action at this popular one-day event online from 11.30am as the sport looks set to return after what has been an incredibly difficult 12 months since the coronavirus pandemic began.
Oasby Elite attracts major names in the sport. Top lady riders including Laura Collett, Pippa Funnell, Piggy March and Ros Canter will grace the Stuart Buntine’s cross country course that welcomes a similar track to last year’s, while Spencer Sturmey is set to commentate on what will no doubt be a day of top action.
Harry Meade, Tom McEwen, Oliver Townend and Sam Ecroyd will be flying the flag for the men, with a whole host of other well-known names turning up for a much-needed season warm-up following months of training at home. The cross-country course is designed to give riders and horses a good “pipe opener” as they start their competition campaign.
The open intermediate event runs just before the first major fixture for the venue, Oasby 1 on April 2nd.
H&C Director of Content, Jonathan Rippon said:
