Nick Gauntlet Joins Ariat’s family of event riders
Ariat’s family of event riders continues to grow…
Event rider Nick Gauntlett has been a longstanding advocate of Ariat apparel and footwear and from immediate effect will be representing the brand as an official ambassador.
Bristol based Nick has a long list of accolades to his name and has competed at 4 star level on numerous occasions, as well as being a integral member of the Nations Cup team in 2015. He was recently presented the Badminton Horse Trials Armada dish for 5 completions at the prestigious event, and one of his proudest moments to date has been being awarded the title of Fellow of the BHS.
Despite being a late starter to eventing, Nick has an impressive equestrian CV and has invested efforts into breeding and producing quality event horses. His homebred stallion Party Trick was awarded SHBGB Champion Stallion in 2016, as well as being placed at the Burghley Young Event Horse Final, and one of his proudest moments to date was seeing Chilli Morning, the stallion he produced to four-star level, win Badminton Horse Trials with fellow Ariat sponsored rider, William Fox-Pitt.
“I have worn Ariat footwear and clothing for many years, it is unbeatable for comfort and performance,” says Nick. “I particularly favour the Skyline boots – they are the most comfortable footwear I have ever worn and are versatile enough to teach, walk the course and even wear to socialise! I am honoured to be part of the Ariat team and look forward to representing them this season and beyond.”
Marketing Manager, Melanie Selman is also excited about this new partnership commenting “Nick truly understands and appreciates the Ariat brand and our ethos. This makes him the ideal ambassador and we very much look forward to supporting him in his equestrian career.”
