New stables for Paralympic gold medallist’s RDA group
New Stables for Sophie – Paralympic gold medallist Sophie Wells set up a new Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) group at her training base in Papplewick, Nottingham in 2014. Papplewick RDA received a recent boost thanks to Jon William Stables, who sponsored and built a set of 3 stables and a tack room. This will house some of the RDA horses and ponies, allowing the group to expand and take on more riders.
Sophie commented, “Now we can give more people opportunities, freedom and inspiration through the expanding RDA centre. The stables are such good quality, and Papplewick RDA and everyone involved are very grateful for the support from Jon William Stables!”
Jon William Stables have been manufacturing and constructing equestrian buildings since 1965. Their product range includes American barns, stables, mobile field shelters, mobile stables, static field shelters and bespoke buildings.
Matthew Pike, Managing Director of Jon William Stables said, “ Jon William Stables were delighted to be chosen as the prefered suppliers of the new stables at Papplewick RDA centre. It was a great honour to be part of such an inspiring project and we would like to wish everyone involved the best of luck and look forward to working with Sophie and the team again in the future.”
