New Sponsor for Horse of the Year Show

Horse of the year show Worcestershire based Field Equine Vets will be co-sponsor of the Shire Horse of the Year Championship

Field Equine Vets support the Shire Horse of the Year Championship at Horse of the Year Show 2017

Horse of the Year Show sponsor update: Worcestershire based Field Equine Vets have been anounced as new co-sponsor of the Shire Horse of the Year Championship, alongside the Shire Horse Society at this year’s HOYS.

Qualifiers for the class have been contested up and down the country throughout the season. The preliminary judging at HOYS will take place in the TopSpec Arena on Sunday 8th October in the afternoon, and the Championship will take place under the spotlight in the Andrews Bowen International Arena as part of the sell-out Gala Evening performance.

Field Equine Vets are a dedicated equine practice with over 25 years’ experience, offering the highest quality veterinary care. Based at New House Farm in Blakedown, Worcestershire, they offer purpose built facilities including, stables, stocks and a knock down box allowing diagnostic procedures and treatments to be performed in a comfortable and convenient manner. An onsite theatre allows for routine surgeries as well as lameness investigations in a 50m ménage.

Field Equine Vets will be conducting a live ‘Ask the Expert’ talk and Q&A on the HOYS Live Zone which is situated in the Retail Village. There sessions will be held at 4:00pm on Friday and Saturday and 11:00am on Sunday, so be sure to get those burning questions at the ready.

Tickets are still available for this year’s Horse of the Year Show starting from just £33.00 for a full sixteen hours of equestrian entertainment Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Saturday and Sunday are split into daytime and evening performances, however, each provide full day access to the retail village. With over 250 tradestands and a fun-filled five days of competition, it’s just the ticket to celebrate equestrian sport and enjoy a great family day out.
