New EQUIGLO Quick Soak 10 MINUTE BEET is an ideal source of fibre for all horses and ponies, particularly those prone to, or at risk from, laminitis. A convenient and safe feed made from British-grown, non-GM unmolassed beet flakes, it is low in sugar and starch, highly digestible and acts as a natural probiotic for healthy gut function.
The feed provides an excellent supply of non-heating, steady energy for working horses and ponies, and can be used as a direct replacement for starchy, cereal-based feeds or as a partial replacement when forage is limited or of poor quality. It should be soaked for 10 minutes before feeding – using hot water will reduce the soaking time to five minutes.
EQUIGLO Quick Soak 10 MINUTE BEET can be fed up to a maximum of 0.5kg per 100kg body weight. That’s 2.5kg of feed for a 500kg horse, for example.
