Founded in 1948 and headquartered in Denver, Morris Animal Foundation is one of the largest nonprofit animal health research organizations in the world, funding more than $142 million in critical studies across a broad range of species.

We’re very proud of the podcast,”

said Dr. Kelly Diehl, Senior Director of Science and Communication and the podcast’s host.

We’re glad we can lift up the terrific work of our researchers and other Foundation supporters.”

Our founder, Dr. Mark Morris Sr., was passionate about education,”

said Diehl.

Dr. Morris wanted to give veterinarians and other animal caretakers the latest health information as a way to improve the lives of animals. The podcast is one piece of our educational outreach.”

The Fresh Scoop podcast airs once monthly and can be found on iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcasts and Stitcher. Episodes also can be accessed on the Foundation’s website.

We’re one of the few podcasts devoted exclusively to discussing the science of animal health,”

said Diehl.

We want to provide accurate, well-curated and timely information to help pet parents and veterinary care teams keep the animals in their care happy and healthy.”
