Lorry Collides with Horse in Plymouth

A HGV lorry has collided with a loose horse in Tavistock, Plymouth.

The accident happened at approximately 12.35pm on Monday 1st November close to the turning at Valley View Farm. The horse, who was believed to have been owned by a local farmer, was unfortunately killed after bolting and being hit.

The male lorry driver was attended to by an ambulance was ‘shaken’ but unhurt.

Temporary road diversion were put in place.
