Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) are offering visitors at this year’s Show a not to be missed opportunity to meet their Olympic hero, Nick Skelton and Big Star. As a guest Nick will be doing rider signings in the retail village during the daytime performances on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th October. So, anyone with a weekend ticket for any performance will be able to go along and meet the man himself – if you’re lucky you may even get your own #Skelfie. If you have not yet bought your tickets, hurry so you don’t miss out!
And for those privileged enough to hold a Sunday evening ticket, you will have the honour of witnessing the magical duo in the flesh as Nick rides Big Star into the Andrew Bowen International Arena for the HOYS Finale. As one of the first public appearances the pair have done together, make sure you book your tickets so that you can be there cheering them on and celebrating their success.
And the Olympic theme doesn’t stop there – Carl Hester MBE will be at the Show on the Friday holding his Dressage Masterclass as well as doing rider signings in the retail village. Nick’s fellow team mates John and Michael Whittaker will be competing at the show in the International Showjumping – Leading Show Jumper of the Year competition throughout the week as well as Sunday evening in the Grand Prix class along with other displays such as the Musical Drive of the Heavy Horses, Gilles Fortier ‘Vulcanium- Dreams of Fire’ and the Virbac 3D Worming Pony Club Mounted Games – Prince Philip Cup.
Finally, to close the celebrations visitors will be treated to a performance by none other than the London company of the West End Hit Musical ‘Mamma Mia!’. The hit musical cast are sure to have everyone singing, dancing and celebrating everything we love about our equestrian sport.
With edge of your seat action, awe-inspiring competition and a celebratory appearance from Nick Skelton and Big Star, you are guaranteed to have a night to remember at ‘The World’s Most Famous Horse Show’. To get your tickets call the HOYS Box Office on 0844 5818282 or visit hoys.co.uk/book-tickets.
