Italian horse racing across North America, with live Harness racing action from Milan, is now available thanks to Australia’s biggest wagering and entertainment company, Sky Racing World. This historical moment also benefits from the commingling of pari-mutuel wagering B-pools, facilitated by Sky Racing World, via Premier Gateway International (PGI).

In February 2023, Sky Racing World and Epiqa (part of the Snaitech Group) announced the news of entering into a multi-faceted agreement to distribute Italian racing worldwide. The offering includes Thoroughbred, and Harness racing from eleven racetracks around Italy, including the world-renowned, and Snaitech Group owned, Ippodromo Snai San Siro in Milan (feature image). The prestigious Spring Thoroughbred season in Milan runs April – July with typically, two cards per week.

The racetracks for simulcast are: Florence (Harness and Thoroughbreds), Follonica (Harness and Thoroughbreds), Livorno (Thoroughbreds), Milan (Harness and Thoroughbreds), Montecatini (Harness), Sassari (Thoroughbreds), Albenga (Harness), Chilivani (Thoroughbreds), Padova (Harness), Taranto (Harness) and Foggia (Harness).

The Italian thoroughbred racing industry has a storied history with legendary horses like Falbrav winning the Gran Premio di Milano in Italy as well as Group 1 races in Japan, France, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. The most famous Italian racing export of modern times is undoubtedly the Milan born jockey Frankie Dettori who has thrilled racing fans all over the globe.

In North America, all races will be live-streamed each morning on the new App, Sky Racing World website and major ADW platforms. Sky Racing World has partnered with Racing and Sports to develop and deliver customized past performances, race data, tipping guides and runner comments. The brand remains the leading digital source for premium form content and live video broadcasts from the Southern Hemisphere’s leading race markets Fans can also get free access to past performances. US players will be able to access the pari-mutuel wagering pools via Sky Racing World’s Advance-Deposit Wagering (ADW) partners.
