Inaugural Hannah Francis One Day Event
The inaugural Hannah Francis One Day Event will get under way on Sunday 16th July 2017, at Mendip Plains Equestrian Centre, Bristol, Somerset.
The event will be run as an unaffiliated event, but under BE Rules and the classes scheduled are 70, 80 and 90 cm.
The event has been organised in order to pay tribute to Hannah’s courage and determination during her brave fight against bone cancer and the inspiration she provided (and continues to provide) to so many. The event also aims to celebrate her love of horses, and eventing in particular and is being run with the full support of Hannah’s family.
Arioneo will be giving an Orscana Horse sensor to the winners of the 90cm class. Using the latest technology and an easy to use app, the Orscana allows users to monitor what their horses are doing every minute of the day and can provide answers to a miriad of questions that horse owners ponder on an almost daily basis – Which rug shall I use tonight? Is my horse too hot? Is my horse too cold? Have I made the right decision? How do I really know? Data is delivered from a sensor sewn into your horses rug, to an app on your mobile phone – easy to understand, it helps you to make the right choices for your horse.
All profits from the event will go to support the work of Hannah’s Willberry Wonder Pony Charity (Registered Charity No 1166416). For more information on how you can get involved in #kickingcancersbutt, visit www.willberrywonderpony.org.
