EquiToolz Launch COVID Risk Assessment Course for Equestrian Businesses

EquiToolz, the equine-specific online training provider, has launched a brand new course to help equestrian businesses with COVID Risk Assessments.

Written by equestrian health and safety expert, Clare Gabriel, the course guides the learner through the process of creating a solid, legally compliant risk assessment.

Step by step, the course helps the identify and correctly document the measures required to protect a business, allowing it to continue functioning safely or in preparation for when staff can return to work.

Clare, who has previously held lead positions for The Pony Club and the UK Jockey Club, urged fellow equestrians not to become complacent. She said:

Most equine businesses have had to continue throughout lockdown to ensure animal welfare is maintained and products, such as feed and bedding, remain available.

I wrote this course to make it easier for business owners and managers to assess the safety of staff, clients and essential visitors, such as farriers and vets.”

Packed full of useful examples, the course is suitable for anyone with an equine business, including those with premises or people who travel to yards and venues for work. It takes around 45 minutes to complete and you can study at your own pace using any mobile or desktop device.

EquiToolz is supported by BETA. It offers a range of interactive and engaging courses created by a collaboration of equine experts. Several courses, including accredited CPD, are free of charge and subjects range from parasite control and food safety to body protector fitting and safeguarding.

COVID Risk Assessment for Equestrian Businesses and Premises has £10 off and costs just £25 plus VAT until the end of January 2021. It will be £35 plus VAT thereafter.
