EQUIGLO Brand Ambassadors – Official Brand Ambassadors Announced
EQUIGLO Horse Feeds has announced its first brand ambassadors, giving support to riders across the country – from those happy to continue at grassroots level to others with their sights fixed firmly on greater things. Each has a passion for equine nutrition and ensuring their horses and ponies benefit from a healthy, fibre-based diet – including EQUIGLO Quick Soak 10 MINUTE BEET. They are riders who enjoy their life in the saddle, take part in a wide range of equestrian activities and kick on for a place in the ribbons.

About the new Equiglo Brand Ambassadors
● Emma Greenaway, 16, from Closworth, Somerset, enjoys showing and riding her 16.3hh thoroughbred ex-racehorse Stonesinmypocket (Jake) in the South Western Dressage Group and the Pony Club’s Cattistock Hunt branch. “Parading in the RoR (Retraining of Racehorses) class in the main ring at the Yeovil Show is something I will never forget,” said Emma.
● Jessica Bosworth, from Hethersgill, near Carlisle, Cumbria, and her 16hh ex-racehorse Humourous (Homi) belong to Ellen Valley Riding Club, Cumbria, and enjoy dressage, hunting, jumping and hacking. Jessica is jumping again after a riding accident left her with prolapsed disks in her lower back. “I have had to regain my confidence in jumping,” she said. “It has taken six years and lots of support from my riding club instructor.”
● Bracken Parkhouse, 11, from Retford, Nottinghamshire, and a member of Tickhill Riding Club, is one of 25 young dressage riders named by Horse & Hound as a possible future Charlotte Dujardin. She has three ponies – Gallois Champagne Charlie (Charlie), an 11hh Welsh Section A, Hywi Sara (Sara), a 12.2hh Welsh Section C, and Bathleyhills Vue Parfaite (Rodger), a14.2hh German riding pony. Bracken will represent England at the British Dressage Home Internationals for the second year running this August. “My ponies are my life,” she said.
● Melaney Baker, from Carterton, Oxfordshire, has been riding for 28 years and owns two horses – Skye, a 15.1hh Irish mare, and Jazz, a 14.2hh Welsh D mare who suffers from laminitis, needing careful management in the summer months. “Skye and I have been a dream team for 11 years,” said Melaney. “She constantly jumps double clears in British Showjumping classes up to 105cm, while Jazz won West Oxfordshire Riding Club’s Pony of the Year title in 2016 and 2017.”
● Tanya Southworth, from Truro, Cornwall, has three pure-bred Arab horses – Darwen, competing in endurance and showing at county shows, AC Latifa Amirah, her main competition horse, and Macey, who is currently unridden. “I broke Darwen myself and worked him up through the endurance levels,” said Tanya. “Latifa is a pocket rocket at only 14.1hh.”
● Millie Walters, 14, from Retford, Nottinghamshire, has been riding from the age of two. She and her 14.1hh dapple-grey Irish sport pony, Rathsallagh Earl (Sky), take part in dressage, showjumping, eventing, hunter trials and working hunter classes. “I’ve competed for Tickhill Riding Club at eight national championships, placed in the top 10 at nearly all of them!” said Millie.
● Jemma Swinscoe, from Newark, Nottinghamshire, a member of Norton District Riding Club, considers her greatest achievement to be getting her horse Chester loaded on to a trailer. “He used to rear up but, after regular work, is now loading,” she said. “I had previously had an accident on a friend’s horse, making me very nervous, so I have slowly built up my confidence to canter on Chester and trust him.”
“We have been overwhelmed with the response we had from riders wishing to become ambassadors for the EQUIGLO brand,” said Henry Bell & Co commercial manager Simon Parker. “Selecting a core team has been incredibly tough. Our aim is to offer support to equestrians of all ages and of all levels of ability. We are delighted to welcome these seven riders on board and relish the opportunity to work with them.”
