Christopher Bartle, gave an exceptional presentation at Stubbing Court
The eventing world’s “man of the moment”, Christopher Bartle, gave an exceptional presentation at Stubbing Court Training Ltd (SCT)’s second “Winning Ways” seminar on Wednesday, 28 June at the Van Dyk Hotel, Chesterfield.
Christopher, the new coach to the British eventing team, spoke on a subject close to his heart: “What makes an outstanding coaching session?”
His talk was one of four superb presentations at the seminar for Chesterfield-based training company SCT’s apprentices and employers.
Christopher was followed by an excellent discussion by Lewis Smith MRCVS, a partner at Rossdales Veterinary Surgeons, on airway problems in horses.
And after lunch, the British Equestrian Federation’s Richard Waterhouse gave a fascinating talk on using social media marketing to promote a business. The day concluded a session on employment law and health and safety by Clive Oliver of Peninsula.
“This really was an amazing opportunity to learn from world-class professionals who are passionate about sharing their knowledge,” said SCT’s Belinda Turner. “The feedback from those who attended has been brilliant – everyone went away feeling inspired and having learnt a lot. We are grateful to Christopher, Lewis, Richard and Clive for fitting us into their very busy schedules.”
The “Winning Ways” seminar is part of the leading equestrian training company’s commitment to providing its associates with the best opportunities to learn from the top professionals in the horse world and is in addition to SCT’s celebrated Masterclass Series.
