The British team is hopeful of a back-to-back victory in the upcoming Agria Nations Cup, which is held each year at the renowned Hickstead Showground between 23 and 28 July, 2024.

Last year’s victory was a monumental moment for the British riders, breaking a 13-year dry spell in the British leg of the series. It was a day to remember competitors Ben Maher (Exit Remo), Tim Gredley (Medoc De Toxandria), John Whitaker (Equine America Unick de Francport), and Harry Charles (Casquo Blue), who proudly lifted the Edward, Prince of Wales Cup in July.

With a history steeped in triumph and tradition, the 2024 class of the Agria Nations Cup heralds a new chapter for this beloved competition, a true staple at Hickstead since its inception in 1971.

The Bunn Family is gearing up to make it one to remember, determined to uphold the class’s legacy and integrity since its separation from the FEI.

“We are really looking forward to seeing if the British team can secure a back-to-back win at Hickstead, following their fabulous victory in 2023,”.

Said Hickstead Director Lizzie Bunn.

“We are so grateful to Agria for coming on board as the title sponsor of this iconic event, securing its future.”

The new independent Nations Cup at Hickstead is similar to some others held at leading venues worldwide, including Falsterbo, Aachen, and Spruce Meadows, which also run standalone Nations Cup competitions.

Tickets for the Agria Royal International Horse Show are on sale now, with general admission prices starting from £20. Advance discounts and concessions are available, including free admission to all under-15s when booked in advance.
