Bransby Horses Receives Donation from 13-year-old Equestrian

Bransby Horses, a rescue and welfare charity for horses, ponies and donkeys has received a donation from a young equestrian who is set to compete at Horse of the Year Show later this year.

Mayon Dorning, based in Derbyshire held a charity event during October 2015 raising over £700 for the charity along with the help from her trainer, Emma Rushton. The money raised was for the Lincolnshire branch of the charity, close to one of Mayon’s relatives home.

The event proved to be a success holding cake stalls, gymkhanas and showjumping, so-much-so that another has now been scheduled for 2016.

Bransby Horses is one of the UK’s largest rescue and welfare charities, established since 1968. There are two centres, one based in Lincolnshire and the other in Herefordshire.
