Bobbie Heath and Floretta win the CSI Am Two-Phase Class at Bolesworth International
At the tender age of 16, Bobbie Heath has won the CSI Am Two-Phase Horse & Country sponsored Class here at Bolesworth International Horse Show, riding Floretta.
A field of 29 riders attempted the 1.15m class, 15 of whom managed a double clear. 12 riders received official placings with prize money being awarded to each.
Bobbie, who has represented Great Britain’s Junior Squad at the Nations Cup on numerous occasions, posted leading clock times on both rounds to win the class.
In second place was Megan Broadway riding the beautiful grey gelding, Capello II, who posted her best result in this year’s event so far. Megan, who is trained by Jess Dimmock, has enjoyed success recently over the Autumn 2017 Meditarianian Equestrian Tour in Oliva Nova, Spain.
Third place went to Kent-based Julie Slade riding Billy Stud’s chestnut gelding, Billy Gogo.
In fourth place was Tony Pearson riding Boombastic and fifth went to Iwan Carpenter on board Jordanta van de Eyckenhoeve.
The class was predominantly led by combinations from Great Britain with five riders representing other countries; USA, Rusia, Denmark and South Africa. Elizabeth Grace Cohen, from the USA riding Farina, was the only rider who finished within the top 12 placed riders that wasn’t British.
